About Telugu language: Telugu is a Dravidian language that is predominantly spoken in the Indian states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar and in the union territory of Yanam (in Puducherry) where it is also an official language. It is one of the 22 scheduled languages and also a Classical Language of India.
